Auto collison insurance

There are many good reasons why you would carry auto collision insurance.  First of all if you can afford to self insure than you would not carry this type of insurance.  Auto collision insurance is important to protect yourself from property damage caused by or from the use of your vehicle.  For example if you drive a car and hit somebody by accident and you have no collision insurance you will be liable for damage to their vehicle and out of pocket to repair your own car.

Auto collision insurance is optional. Many consumers carry use it in order that if they get in an accident that is there fault they have some form of coverage.  After all if you need your car for work you really should apply the right amount of coverage that if it is a write off you can go by something else.
